12" x 3" Total-locking Scaffold Stem Caster with Polyon™ Wheel
The Polyon™ wheel features a polyurethane tread bonded to a cast iron core. High load capacity, low rolling resistance, non-marking, and resistant to oil, grease, and most industrial chemicals. Suited to demanding indoor and outdoor applications where heavy loads need to roll smoothly.
Our 403 Scaffolding Series is built for heavy-duty scaffolding, mobile platforms, and temporary structures in demanding construction and industrial environments. Each caster includes a cross-drilled stem that bolts directly through the leg of a scaffold tube, with a total-locking pedal brake that simultaneously locks both wheel rotation and swivel motion. The 403 chassis features hardened swivel raceways with dual-row ball bearings, a formed and hardened brake shoe that locks both the swivel and wheel at the same time, and Zerk (Alemite) fittings on both the wheel and raceway for ongoing lubrication. Recommended for ergonomic scaffolding applications.
WARNING: DO NOT RIDE ROLLING TOWERS. Check that the caster is securely locked before climbing scaffolding. Do not attempt to use if the caster is faulty or has not been properly maintained.
