10" x 3" Swivel Plate Caster with Ductile Steel Wheel
Ductile steel is a composed of a combination of special alloys that give it higher weight capacities than cast iron; while being more economical than drop forged steel. Also referred to as malleable iron; material may flex rather than cracking or breaking when submitted to an extreme shock load. Features an extra thick walled, heavy-duty core, hub and tread face. Roller bearings are standard, with precision & tapered bearings as an option.
Idea for use on rough surfaces and has good rolling resistance under any condition.
The casters in our 57/58 Kingpinless Series are heavy duty and forged, with capacities up to 6,000 lb.The series offers matching swivel and rigid casters constructed with 5/16" thick top plates from hot forged ASTM1045 steel. The legs are 3/8" thick and the axle used is 3/4" thick making these casters hold up to the toughest of jobs. The swivel casters feature a 3' precisely machined kingpinless raceway of 1/2" ball bearings.
