8" x 3" Rigid Plate Caster with Ductile V-Groove Wheel

Made specifically for use on inverted angle iron track; although they can also be used on flat surfaces. Each wheel has a precisely machined 90° V-groove with a relief groove which enables load equalization.

Ductile steel is a composed of a combination of special alloys that give it higher weight capacities than cast iron; while being more economical than drop forged steel. Also referred to as malleable iron; material may flex rather than cracking or breaking when submitted to an extreme shock load. Features an extra thick walled, heavy-duty core, hub and tread face. Roller bearings are standard, with precision & tapered bearings as an option.

Excellent for heavy-duty guided industrial applications, assembly lines, paint lines, gates and where precise alignment is necessary.

The casters in our 63/34 Kingpinless Series are ranked for extreme heavy duty use, with capacities up to 20,000 lb.The series offers matching swivel and rigid casters constructed with thick top plates from hot forged ASTM1045 steel. The legs are 3/8" thick and the axle used is a 1" thick Grade 5 bolt making these casters hold up to the toughest of jobs. The swivel casters feature a forged 1/2" thick swivel head and a 4-1/2" precisely machined kingpinless raceway of 5/8" hardened ball bearings.
