12" x 4" Rigid Plate Caster with Forged Steel Wheel
Our Forged Steel wheels are drop forged from ASTM1045 high carbon steel. The forging process results in a increased ductility and tensile strength by enhancing the metals grain structure. They feature a tensile strength of 60,000 PSI and a hardness of Rockwell 80 B. These wheels can withstand tempuratures up to 1,300 degrees fahrenheit.
The 65/66 Series offers matching extreme duty swivel and rigid kingpinless casters with capacities up to 40,000 lb. Constructed from hot forged ASTM1045 steel with 1/2″ thick double-welded legs and a 1-1/4″ Grade 8 axle bolt. Features a forged 5/8″ thick swivel head with a 7″ precisely machined kingpinless raceway using 3/4″ hardened ball bearings. The swivel casters feature a forged 5/8" thick swivel head and a 7" precisely machined kingpinless raceway of 3/4" hardened ball bearings.
