6" x 2" Total-locking Scaffold Stem Caster with Mold-On Rubber Wheel

The Mold-On Rubber wheel has a rubber tread vulcanized to a heavy-duty cast iron core. Offers a shock-absorbing semi-cushioned ride with floor protection and quiet rolling operation. Rolls well over small debris, rough floors, cracks, floor joints, and other common obstacles. Economically priced cushion wheel. The black rubber tread may leave floor marks; if non-marking wheels are required we suggest a different wheel material. Works well in outdoor environments, but the cast iron core can rust if exposed to moisture; if this is a concern, consider wheels with aluminum or plastic cores.

Our Scaffolding Series consists of total-locking scaffold stem casters built for use on scaffolding, mobile platforms, and temporary structures in construction, maintenance, and industrial environments. Each caster includes a cross-drilled stem that bolts directly through the leg of a scaffold tube, with a total-locking pedal brake that simultaneously locks both wheel rotation and swivel motion for stable platform positioning. The SC chassis uses deep toothed gears that lock the swivel and wheel together, an integrated brake arm with fork legs, and a zinc-plated finish.

WARNING: DO NOT RIDE ROLLING TOWERS. Check that the caster is securely locked before climbing scaffolding. Do not attempt to use if the caster is faulty or has not been properly maintained.
